Congressman Lloyd Doggett today deputized himself as a one-man truth squad to travel around the nation warning Americans about Texas Gov. Rick Perry.
"Far beyond the Red River, we must tell our countrymen, Rick Perry wants to do to America what he has done to Texas," Doggett warned. "We owe it to our fellow Americans to sound the alarm."
Delivering his own response to Perry's prayer rally 150 miles to the east in Houston, the liberal Austin Democrat and political archenemy of the Texas governor played a modern day Paul Revere to Perry's Billy Graham.
